As we near the end of another interesting and exciting year, we’re hoping that you all have a relaxing and refreshing holiday season. I would like to personally thank you for being a part of the iMIS community, helping us grow, and sharing our mutual successes.
This seems like a good opportunity to mention that we’re always happy to hear your product feedback, whether it’s feature requests or (and especially) your iMIS success stories. You’re always welcome to reach out to us at productowners@imis.com. Thanks to all of you who regularly contact us, and I assure you that we read and respond to each email. Any ASIer will tell you that the iMIS community is what keeps us going.
ASI Connections This Past Quarter
Speaking of community, it was great to see many of you at the joint Discovery and iNNOVATIONS conference in Crystal City, VA in September! For those of you outside the US, hopefully you were able to take part in conferences in Canada, UK, or Australia. These are great opportunities to meet with people from ASI, connect with our amazing network of partners, and share experiences with other iMIS users. If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend a conference in your region, I highly recommend planning on it next year!
Some of my personal favorites from the US conference were the partner sessions from OpenWater and WBT Systems; it’s great to have them in the ASI family. Tuesday’s opening session included a fabulous talk from Causeis’ Michelle Lelempsis sharing her vision of how organizations can reorient using iMIS to thrive in the challenging times that we’re facing now. Troy Stenback, Martin Parsons, and Beau Harbin also discussed actionable ideas for creating a culture of continuous improvement within your organization. In addition, there were many sessions to highlight the splendid work that our development teams have done over the past year. I found the conference to be so inspiring, especially the opportunities to talk in person and hear iMIS success stories!
And, of course, it was great to see everyone again in sessions and at the various networking events and hear about how you’re using the latest iMIS EMS product to improve your organization's performance.
What's New in the Q4 iMIS Update
For our EMS clients, by the time you read this, you should have the latest iMIS update installed and, hopefully, have had some time to dig into the new features that we’ve included for you. You can always find information on the latest updates on our What’s New page, including links to our full documentation and video overviews.
Here’s a quick recap of what you’ll find in that release...
Campaign Management Update
Campaign Management enables your organization to measure your marketing campaigns so that you can focus on those that really enable you to focus on your mission. We have removed the licensing (and cost) for Campaign Management, so it’s now available for all iMIS EMS Enterprise clients.
Additional Verification on UK iMIS Pay Transactions
For UK Clients, we have included the new 3D Secure verification to make sure that your iMIS Pay transactions are as secure as possible.
New Report Writer Templates
We are continuing to release additional Report Writer reports and samples to make it easier for your organization to get the most out of your data. This release includes sample email templates with attachments for Event Invoices, Account Statements, Invoices and Renewal Notices.
Microsoft Azure Active Directory
iMIS organizations that use Microsoft Azure Active Directory can now use iMIS OpenID Connect to manage staff users through AD, increasing security and reducing the effort required to manage users.
Staff Account Page Updates
The Staff Account page has been updated with additional functionality and a new theme to put the information that you need at your fingertips and updated to the latest web standards.
