American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)

American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)

ASI Products: iMIS, Clowder, SpaceMaster

Category: Membership Growth Initiative

Partner: getefficient

ABCA struggled with fragmented systems, making it hard to manage their more than 5,000 members. Data silos, manual renewals led to low engagement, with a retention rate of just 45%.

In 2017, ABCA adopted iMIS to centralize membership management, streamline renewals, and offer better year-round benefits. And in 2019, they added the Clowder app, giving members mobile access to key resources like their resource video library and empowering ads and sponsorships to run on their Clowder app through SpaceMaster.

Through the innovative use of iMIS and Clowder, and with a strategic shift in how they viewed membership engagement, ABCA doubled their annual convention attendance, retention rates soared from 45% to over 70%, and increased their membership by 89%.
