The iMIS Great Things Awards were created to celebrate and recognize clients (and their solution provider partners) who are using iMIS more, using it better and getting greater value from the platform. The award is not about being perfect, but is about committing to and striving for continuous performance improvement and using iMIS to advance your mission by serving your donors and community at the highest levels. Nominate your organization at advsol.com/nominate.
Awarded monthly, we review countless submissions from the iMIS community, sharing stories on the great things their peers, colleagues, and partners are achieving.
We are pleased to announce the November 2023 winners:
Graham Kench, Head of Membership and Qualifications, at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) tells us, “We began our iMIS journey in 2020 just before the pandemic struck.”
“We wanted to bring all our member and customer data into one system to allow us to target our marketing and our activities where it was most needed and get the most possible impact.”
Creating self-service opportunities for event bookings, membership renewals, invoice downloading, and payments has freed up staff time and allowed the professional body to provide more activities to members.
Russell Franks, the CEO of iFINITY, CIPR’s Authorised iMIS Solution Provider, highlighted the following accomplishments:
Congratulations to CIPR for their iMIS Evolution.
Chris Hall, CEO of Grief Australia, tells us, “We needed a new site, built from the ground up that would better convey our new brand and meet the changing needs of members and visitors. Our old site was unwieldly with an overly complex menu structure. Our site lacked the emotional engagement that grieving people were seeking.”
Working closely with Pseudo Code, their Authorised iMIS Solution Provider, and Taylor and Grace, a branding and creative agency based in Melbourne, the organisation did extensive user testing.
“We now have an iMIS website that provides consistency of brand across our digital and non-digital assets, a more user centric and simplified site structure, greater clarity on our audiences and how this sharpened focus can be leveraged, and our traffic data indicates increased and longer visits to the site with greater engagement with content.”
Let’s congratulate Grief Australia for their iMIS Evolution and their iMIS website.
