While iMIS stands out as an incredibly user-friendly Engagement Management System (EMS), incorporating both AMS and CMS functionalities, we've been exploring various opportunities to elevate the user experience even further. After discussions with members of the iMIS Community and lots of hard work from my team at CSI, we're excited to introduce an innovative solution:

The iMIS Experience Plus: A free browser extension for Chrome and Edge, designed to optimize three pivotal areas of iMIS for an unparalleled user experience.

Three Key Features of the iMIS Experience Plus:

1. Enhanced Query Building

We've found several ways to streamline your iMIS query construction (IQA) experience, including advanced techniques involving SQL code. If you want to speed up the incorporation of SQL codes or have ever added new filters, only to miss pressing the "add filter" button, read on. The iMIS Experience Plus brings you these exciting enhancements:

• Edit SQL Button: Modify SQL by clicking the edit button. No copy/paste, re-add necessary.
• New Commit button for adding filters: The new conspicuous “Commit Button” ensures you never miss a step.
• Copy IQA Location: Copying the full path of the IQA is now one click.

2. Empowered Content Editing

Unlocking the full potential of the iMIS content editor, the iMIS Experience Plus makes content manipulation even more intuitive. Notable features include:

• Prominent content block titles and outlines: It's now easier to read the title and location. 
• Icon-driven navigation: Replacing wordy links including “configure” with a cleaner look.
• Enhanced drag & drop: Making content arrangement even simpler and foolproof.
• Instant preview: Check your work with the click of a button and hide all non-content items.
• One click publish location: Copy the publish location in one click.

Ultimately, these features open the doors of RiSE, the CMS native to iMIS EMS, to an even broader staff user base, ensuring your team delivers an engaging experience to both members and donors.

3. Intuitive Work Bar

iMIS has an extensive range of over 275 navigation items. The iMIS Work Bar is a game-changer. It offers:

• Streamlined search: Jump directly to any area of iMIS. Not sure where something is?  Just type it and find it!
  • Type “IQA” and click to create a NEW IQA 
  • Type “Gen” and click to edit Gen Tables 
  • Type “Tax” and instantly edit Tax codes
  • Type “Conte” and click to go to Manage Content
• One-click lookups: Type a Member ID, User Login, Event Code, and more, to instantly pull up that record in iMIS.
• Comprehensive keyword search: Including access to online iMIS documentation and all things inside of iMIS. 

Essentially, the work bar transforms even the newest iMIS users into seasoned pros in no time.
